make a smooth batter of besan with water and spices. add onions and mix well.

In a heavy bottomed iron wok (kadai), add small ladle of bessan and onion batter. Let it fry on simmer for 5 min and then flip to fry on the other side.

Once fried, take out the onion fritters and place them on newspaper.

Serve the hot crispy onion pakoda with Green Chutney!
